Start your Baylor Homecoming visit at the Hurd

Whether you’re a Homecoming regular or this is your first trip to campus in years, you’ll want to start your Baylor Homecoming experience this year (Nov. 6-7) at the Hurd Welcome Center.
The Hurd will serve as “Homecoming headquarters” for visitors, with Baylor staff on hand Friday and Saturday to answer questions and help you connect with school/college/campus events — plus a host of kids’ crafts and activities, Baylor history exhibits, photo ops, and more.
On Friday, doors open at 8 a.m. (for the Hurd as well as the Baylor Spirit Shop and Varsity Coffee & Soda inside). Programming runs from 4-8:45 p.m. and includes:
- Historical exhibits celebrating Baylor football, the Line, Sing and Pigskin, the 100th anniversary of the Immortal Ten, and more.
- Make-and-take crafts for kids — Homecoming wrist mums, and “Sic the Cyclones” pennants
- Rancher Hat Bar — an interactive western-wear workshop, where you design your own hat, start to finish
- 2026 Homecoming Keepsake Poster Give-away

The Hurd will also host the Golden Grad reunion luncheon for the Class of 1976 (Friday, 11-1:30), and the Royal & Pure Homecoming Stroll Off (Friday, 7-8:45 p.m.). A sensory room inside the Hurd (hosted by Baylor Center for Disability & Flourishing) will be open from 4-9 p.m. to provide a safe, less stimulating environment for individuals with disabilities.
Friday evening, visitors making their way down Third Street from Hurd toward Fountain Mall will find a Homecoming festival (featuring fall festival-type games and prizes), a decades walk (with photos celebrating the Baylor experience down the years), and almost a dozen food trucks (for visitors seeking easy dinner options).
The Hurd will also be open on Saturday around the parade (times TBD based on the football game time). Stop by Saturday morning for free gameday face tattoos, boot ribbons, and the commemorative poster (while supplies last).
And of course, countless other Homecoming events — from Pigskin, the bonfire, parade and football game to smaller campus/departmental events — will be hosted all across campus. Check the full Homecoming schedule for a complete listing.
Sic ’em, Homecomers!
